Hi Gang! How’s it going?
Do you ever get the feeling you are floating through your life with little or no direction? Do you wonder where the days, weeks, years have gone? Are the things you want for your life passing you by?
I became a stay at home mom about 4 years ago. It was a huge adjustment for me in both positive and negative ways. While I love to always focus on the positive, some of the negatives have become mini mountains that I can no longer ignore. I have had moments of trying to address them when depression or anxiety kick in, but once things leveled out, I go back to what is comfortable and easy.
I see myself doing amazing things that’d I’d never have dreamed possible 4 years ago, but there are many areas of my life where I feel have been neglectful. When the end comes, as it will for all of us, I want to have lived my life feeling that I regret nothing. I want to make the changes and live the best life I possibly can.
I decided to start 365 Days of Change in my life to make incremental changes each and every day. As I begin, they may seem small and insignificant, but my plan is to build on them week by week until at the end of 365 days I will be stronger, healthier, and happier with my life.
My plan is to add, delete, learn something new in my life each day. I am not planning the year out in advance. I am taking it day by day to keep what I feel I need relevant. I encourage you to create your own 365 Days of Change challenge. What is right for me may not be right for you.
Every day for a year, I will stop or start doing something to benefit my life or the lives of the people around me. These things may seen small, but will build and grow into something life changing at the end. These things can be as small as setting a timer to take my vitamins every day to slowly building a workout schedule that works for me.
I would love it if you joined in, shared your experiences, followed along, and cheered for those involved. I am by no means an expert. I am sure to make mistakes. I am sure to fall off the wagon. So are you. Knowing that going into this project will give us the grace to pick ourselves up and move forward without giving up.
I usually host a Weekly Goals Live Video each Sunday on my YouTube channel. I intend to use that time to share the goals I set for myself during the previous week, discuss things I’ve learned, reflect on how the challenge is going, and make plans for the week to come. I may create vlogs along the way, but realistically, I doubt I can vlog everyday for a year. Some of the Sunday videos may be a live chat, while others may be a vlog of how things are going each day.
